HOW IT WORKS
- Every project begins with a complimentary home consultation, with no obligation. During this visit, we’ll take the time to understand your vision, explore the possibilities for your space, and explain the process in detail. We’ll assess your needs, take initial measurements, and answer any questions you may have, ensuring you have all the information to move forward with confidence.
- After our initial visit, we’ll follow up with a detailed quote and check if you’d like to proceed. From there, we’ll guide you through the next steps, providing all the information you need to make an informed decision. We’re always happy to discuss design ideas, answer any further questions, and ensure you feel confident about moving forward with your project.
- After you approve the quotation, we’ll request an initial deposit payment to cover professional fees, including a detailed site survey, structural calculations, and preparation of drawings for building control and submission to the local authority for either Lawful Development Certificate, or Planning Permission Approval. At this stage, your commitment to the project will be confirmed, and you’ll have the opportunity to finalize details with your designated designer. Once this is finalized you will be provided with a realistic start and finish date.
- The Build: This is where the transformation truly takes shape. Much of the structural work for your loft conversion can be carried out externally, keeping disruption to a minimum.
As we approach the final stages, we’ll carefully break through to complete the installation of electrics, plumbing, and the staircase ensuring everything is done as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
- After Build and After Care
At SW Lofts & Extensions, we stand by the quality of our work, offering a 10-year warranty (T&Cs apply) on nearly every aspect of our completed projects, excluding general wear and tear. This includes waterproofing, heating and cooling systems, windows, and doors giving you complete peace of mind.
We also provide ongoing maintenance services to keep your home in top condition. From heating system servicing and window and door maintenance to electrical safety inspections and even driveway cleaning, our aftercare packages are fully customizable to suit your needs. Whatever support you require, we’re here to help.
